OA & SC

Studio Calico is highlighting some of the October Afternoon in their August kit with a few extra layouts from two OA design team members. I was super happy to get to play with the kit. They always put together a great mix of product with exclusives and of course, the stamps.

This background was SO fun. And easy. Easy is always good :) It came from a pattern I saw on an airplane seat on my flight back home from CHA. Would you like a video tutorial? If there's any interest I'll try and get one up this week.

This kit really seemed to work whether you lean more toward girly or boyish colors. Workable either way. The layout below might be a new favorite. I mean, anytime you can cut multiple mustaches it has to be a good thing, right? ;) Bet you can guess the subject on that one.
The amazing Jill also played with kit. You can see both of our layouts, and a simple card using a die cut file from this month, on the Studio Calico blog
And with that, how about a giveaway? Studio Calico has offered a $10 gift certificate to their store. Ohhh...what would you get if you won? I think I would snag the Woodland Park washi and add some designer brads. Yep. Pretty sure I would.
So leave a comment telling me what you would add to your cart, if you want a video tutorial, or just say hi :) I'll draw a winner on Monday.

Enjoy your Tuesday!
